About Us

Hello! And welcome to our website!

Whether this is your first visit or a returning one, we hope you find something of interest.

We try to cater for most horological tastes and if you are looking for something specific, please contact us. If we don't have it, we may know someone who does!

My wife and I are both clock enthusiasts and began by collecting clocks, mainly torsion pendulum/ 400-day clocks, but other types too.

Our interests have varied and we are now engaged in learning about restoration and repair techniques. To this end, we attend courses in clock repair and furniture restoration. This allows us to both carry out work on our own collection and stock, and offer some repair/ restoration services to customers.

A Fantastic bracket clock and matching bracket by Lenzkirch c1880. Overall height is 34 inches!

Oak case with profuse brass mounts, typical of this manufacturer. These mounts and the case have the patina of age - the clock is in a very nice original condition - though a full clean and polish of the case can be done if the new owner wants a much brighter look to the clock. The patina cannot of course be replaced except by waiting a long time!

The dial is a particularly fine feature having superb decoration and contrasting polished and gilt silvering to the minute band and retains the original blued steel hands.

The clock is running well and even has its original winding key. Strikes the hour and half past on a single coiled gong.

Price: £1250. SOLD - sorry!
