The clock used at the top left of each page! Thought it worthwhile showing an actual photo of it.

This clock is triple-fusee driven and stands 23 inches tall. It chimes one of 3 tunes on either 8-bells or 5-coiled gongs. The dial is a fantastic chased out and gilded design.

A very unusual wall clock by Lenzkirch. This clock looks impressive at first glance but then when you consider it is 29 inches wide and 34 inches in height, it really is impressive - and very heavy!

Hour and half past striking movement - curiously not ting-tang or anything fancy but  all correct to the wonderful dial. Once again, as with the bracket clock, a superbly gilded and engraved decorative dial enhanced by matching, original blued steel hands.

Once again great patina from years of not being touched. The backboard is one solid piece of oak nearly 1 inch thick!

Restored: £1500

Unusual centre sweep-seconds carriage clock. See more detail on this clock on our carriage clock page!
